More than 30% of Ukrainians have lost their property because of the war


The situation is worst in the war zone.
More than 30% of Ukrainians have lost their property because of the war, according to data collected by the Rating Social Research Group
When it comes to housing, 33% of Ukrainians were left without housing in the de-occupied territories of the north of Ukraine, and 18% of the population lost housing in the frontline territories in the south. The worst situation is in the war zone. 39% of Ukrainians were left without a roof over their heads there.
Also among the losses of Ukrainians: money, cars, household appliances, means of production, animals and commercial real estate
One per cent of respondents were not prepared to talk about their material losses during the war


The majority of those who have lost their homes (58%) are planning to use their own means for reconstruction in the first place. 27% of Ukrainians expect to restore their homes using state funds, 12% - funds of international organizations, 9% - volunteer funds, 7% - funds of relatives or charitable foundations. Owners of damaged homes expect help from the state more, and owners of partially damaged homes are planning to manage with their own resources.
The audience: population of Ukraine aged 18 and older in all oblasts, except temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas and territories where at the moment of the survey there is no Ukrainian mobile communication. The results are weighted using actual data of the State Statistics Service. The sample is representative by age, sex and type of settlement. The sampling frame: 2000 respondents. Survey method: CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews). The survey has a margin of error of representation with confidence
