US President Joe Biden wants to talk to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about Ukraine's requests for military assistance. The talk will be about how weapons can counter Russian aggression.
Biden's statement comes a day after he said that the USA would not supply Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets.
It is worth noting that the Ukrainian leadership is actively lobbying for deliveries of Western aircraft, but the allies have not yet given an unambiguous answer on this issue.
