Attack on Zaporizhzhya and Kyiv region: there are wounded and significant damage


On the night of 27 June, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhya using drones.
According to the head of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, at least six strikes on the regional centre were recorded. The attacks resulted in fires and damaged non-residential buildings, including structures of an industrial enterprise and the territory of a garage co-operative society. There were no civilian casualties.
Later, Fedorov published additional photos showing the consequences of the night attack, in particular the destruction in a garage co-operative in one of the city districts.
Zaporizhzhya continues to be regularly shelled by Russia, including with the use of drones and missiles. Earlier, on the night of 25 June, explosions were also recorded in the city, and the Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of drones and other high-speed targets.
Similar attacks also occurred in the Kiev region. According to the head of the Kiev OVA, Mykola Kalashnik, the Russian army used drones and missiles. Air defence forces destroyed part of the targets. In three districts of the region recorded the consequences of shelling.
A man born in 1963 was wounded in Fastivskyi district and was treated. A private residential house was also damaged there. A house was also damaged in Boryspil district. In Bilotserkivskyi district, a tyre repair shop and five cars were damaged. No hits to critical infrastructure have been recorded, emergency services continue to eliminate the consequences of the attacks.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has been systematically striking Ukrainian territory, using missiles, artillery, aerial munitions and drones. As a result, civilian infrastructure is often damaged, which poses a serious threat to civilians.
