More than 400 aircraft and 360 helicopters of the Russian army are concentrated around the borders of Ukraine.

This was announced by the speaker of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, at a briefing on August 25.

Around our borders there is a group of Russian aircraft - more than 400 combat aircraft. There are also 360 helicopters, of which more than 150 are strike helicopters, such as the Ka 52, - said Yuri Gnat.

Yuriy Gnat also told how the occupiers used their aircraft.

The enemy actively constantly uses tactical aviation. Fighters constantly patrol the airspace of Belarus, Russia, the temporarily occupied territories, as well as the waters of the Black and Azov Seas. A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft and Il-22 repeater aircraft are constantly in the sky, - said Yuri Gnat.

Recall that approximately 13,000 Belarusian active and former military men agreed to participate in the war against Ukraine on the side of the Russian army.
