In Zaporizhzhya, a missile hit a multi-storey building, eight flats were damaged in the building



Between 01:33 and 01:48 on the night of 18 October, Russian troops launched six missile strikes on the territory of Zaporizhzhya. One missile hit a residential five-storey building. The residents of the building were evacuated, all will be provided with temporary accommodation.

Yuriy Malashko, chairman of the Zaporizhzhya OVA, reported.

According to him, so far it is known that 25 and 29-year-old men, as well as a 48-year-old woman were wounded. Two men were killed.

Residents were evacuated to a safe place, warmed, provided psychological and other assistance," Malashko wrote.

He also reported that the enemy was firing at 18 settlements of Zaporizhzhya region, having carried out 138 shelling.

The Russian Army launched 6 missile strikes on Zaporizhzhya, 7 UAV-attacks on Gulyaypol, Novodorovka and Malaya Tokmachka, shelled Orekhov, Malaya Tokmachka and Novodanilovka with MLRS, and also fired 4 aerial shells on Robotino and Novodanilovka.

There were 118 artillery attacks on frontline towns and villages.

There were 33 reports of destruction of residential houses and infrastructure.

Emergency services continue to work on the spot," Malashko added.

Law enforcers showed footage of rescuing a victim from under the rubble in Zaporizhzhya.

As a result of the Russian strike, the entrance of a residential building from the 5th to the 3rd floors was destroyed. About 50 residents of the house were evacuated.
