98-year-old WWII veteran ready to defend the homeland again

With the outbreak of the Russian war against Ukraine, the 98-year-old legendary intelligence officer Olga Tverdokhlebova called the military registration and enlistment office.
She was ready to defend the Motherland with weapons. She was not allowed - because of the venerable age. Vladimir Groysman spoke about this on his page on social networks:
Because of their age, they did not want to take Olga Tverdohlebova to a military school even at the beginning of World War II. She wasn't even 16 then. But she still ended up in a secret intelligence unit. I met Victory Day in Berlin. Symbols of exploits and courage in the legendary scout on the tunic - from orders for military merit to the red star.
The publication "Current Time" recorded an interview with the legendary intelligence officer
Despite her age, she is in good health, with a rank in athletics and a Voroshilov marksman badge, she believes that she can still be useful to the Motherland.
Once upon a time, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko thanked her personally for the Victory and annually invited her to military parades. Today, in the circle of veterans, they again discuss the war and call on Russia to stop it.
