London Fashion Week: 8 top trends for spring 2026
18:00, 29.09.2025

At the London Fashion Week shows, designers presented key trends for the spring-2026 season.

Despite the absence of some big names, such as J.W. Anderson and Molly Goddard. Anderson and Molly Goddard, the fashion week in the British capital did not lose its drive.

New generation brands and established masters showed that the spring season promises to be bright, bold and in some places even provocative. The focus is on rich colours, extravagant shapes, vintage references and textures with character.

Here are eight of the top trends Elle thinks are worth paying attention to.

Colours

Soft blue

Shades of cobalt and Yves Klein blue were the main stars of the catwalks. This rich yet soft colour is perfect for the transitional season, conveying the mood of a summer evening and seamlessly dipping into the cooler days of spring. Brands like Ahluwalia and Pauline Dujancourt showed both minimalist monochrome looks and layered sets with a variety of textures in this colour.

Vibrant green

Following blue, shades of lime and chartreuse shone on the catwalks. These bright colours set the mood and look bold in a new way. Simone Rocha presented a hip-lined dress in acid green, Ahluwalia presented a laconic set in the same shade and Conner Ives presented a look in the iconic 'Brat Green', reminding us that pop culture is always relevant.

Floral print

Floral prints are an old favourite in spring collections, but this season they appeared in unexpected ways. At Mithridate, Richard Quinn and Yuhan Wang it was dense, rich patterns, while at Marques' Almeida and Simone Rocha it was large single flowers that became the centrepiece of the looks. This reinterpretation of a classic makes the print more dramatic and expressive.

Silhouette

High fit

High briefs are nothing new on the catwalk, but for Spring 2026 they're becoming a full-fledged part of the looks. Simone Rocha embellishes them with crystals, Burberry crochets them, and Mithridate combines them with colourful prints. The visual trick of "big shirt + small trousers" gets a new life - provocative but elegant.

Emphasis on the hips

The spirit of the 18th century is back in vogue: skirts with volume, crinolines, corsets and sharply defined waists - now in a modern version. Simone Rocha opened the show with a glittering dress with accentuated hips, while Roksanda, Toga and Erdem made the silhouettes even more daring and theatrical. Such fashion is a play with proportions and history.

Mini

The mini is making a comeback in the style of the 90s. In the Spring 2026 season, short dresses are presented in a variety of silhouettes, from architectural and corseted, like Erdem, to seductive and tight-fitting, like Dilara Findikoglu. The lengths are above the knee, the shapes are varied and the mood is bold and energetic.

Material

Fringe

Decorative fringe is one of the most spectacular ways to add movement and dynamism to a look. It appears on Burberry jackets and accessories this season, including a luxurious turquoise leather version, as well as in Tove looks where fringe dominates the outfits. This trend is a return to bohemian freedom and textural play.

Lace

Lace - light, airy, almost weightless - is back in the spotlight, but now with a vintage twist. Far from romantic, it's more antique and conceptual. Bora Aksu uses it as a trim on a layered checked dress, while Yuhan Wang creates a contrast by combining lace with real elements of armour. This look is not afraid of trends or time.
