France is considering the expulsion of 39 Russian citizens because of their radicalisation. At the moment, they are under administrative detention.

This was reported by Ukrayinska Pravda.

The head of the French Interior Ministry, Gerald Darmanin, said that 60 Russians were suspected of radicalisation and were under administrative arrest. 39 of them, with the consent of the Russian Federation, can be expelled.

We have compiled a list of 39 Russian citizens whom we are particularly monitoring and who we suspect of radicalisation. We presented this list to the Russian authorities last week," the minister said.

He specified that these people have been "identified" by the Russian government.

The rest of the Russians are in prisons or administrative detention centres.

After the murder of teacher Dominique Bernard in Arras by a radicalised man of Russian origin, the government wants to demonstrate an image of intransigence. In this way, the executive branch is demonstrating its desire to expel the persons of the so-called S file as quickly as possible. In particular, the authorities have asked the prefects to pay special attention to "natives of the Caucasus aged between 16 and 25 years"," the report said.

Earlier we reported that in France there was a series of protests over the death of a 17-year-old black student at the hands of the police. The deceased tried to escape from law enforcers on a car. During the riots were detained more than 1,300 participants, of which 406 - in Paris and the suburbs.
