In the afternoon, on 15 September, Russian forces launched KAB strikes on Kharkiv, in particular on a residential building.
The number of people injured in a Russian strike on a block of flats in Kharkiv's Saltovka district has risen to 35. Earlier it was reported that there were 30 of them. The increase in the number of wounded was reported by the city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov, and the head of the Kharkiv city administration, Oleh Sinegubov.
The Russian military fired at least six KABs at the city and the neighbourhood. Three people are in serious condition, there may still be people under the rubble," HOVA head Sinegubov said.
Among the injured are at least three children - all under 10 years old.
Two people are also known to be in serious condition - a woman and a 12-year-old boy.
There were no people in the flats of the multi-storey building where the fire is being extinguished after the Russian airstrike, tentatively," Kharkiv mayor Terekhov said.

According to preliminary information, the missiles were launched from the Belgorod region.
The police showed footage of people being rescued from the house and indicated that during the operation they also rescued a dog, without which the owner of the animal refused to evacuate.
Rescue workers and law enforcers will continue to work at the site of the hit.
A headquarters was deployed to help the injured.
