Zelensky told what mobilisation should be in 2024

The President stressed that a fair and smart mobilisation law is needed.
Mobilisation in Ukraine is necessary for the sake of justice. After all, those people who have been at war since its first day should have a rest. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with Channel 4 News.
Warriors, who were at the front in the most powerful and difficult times, deserve justice - that someone replaced them. When you mobilise, you have to give people a tool - so that they can mobilise a part of society, and then prepare them - it's very important, prepare them - not to leave them on the battlefield. And otherwise they will have... chances to survive and this is wrong, quite wrong, because these are not 'meat' - these are people," Zelensky said.
He stressed that the law on mobilisation should be "smart and fair"
The whole story about mobilisation is, first of all, a question of fairness: it is fair to replace, it is fair to give someone a fair rest, it is unfair to bypass when someone dies for you ... And it is fair that a person should know where he is going, for how long, how much he will be prepared, who will prepare him," the head of state emphasised.
Zelensky also reacted to numerous media reports about alleged war fatigue.
When we say fatigue, we must separate these things. We cannot afford war fatigue. Otherwise it will happen that someone is defending the state. I'm not just talking about the front, it's also working people who have businesses, who pay taxes. You can get tired under the rockets of doing it, but people continue.... If we get tired, we will lose what we have," said the President.
He stressed that no one should be put down now.
We can afford to be tired in the evening, but in the morning we will have to defend the state, to fight for it, if we want to preserve it," Zelenski stressed.
At the end of December, the Cabinet of Ministers submitted to the Rada a draft law on mobilisation, which proposes to partially change the procedure for its implementation.
