Zelensky spoke out about the likely termination of US participation in peace talks

The states have not ruled out that they may withdraw from the ceasefire talks on Ukrainian territory.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has commented on the statement by US State Department spokesperson Temmy Bruce that the United States no longer intends to mediate peace talks between Ukraine and Russia. This is reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
Zelenskyy noted that after a possible agreement on a ceasefire between Kiev and Moscow, some countries may try to remove themselves from further participation in the negotiation process, leaving the sides "one on one".
These are definite signals. But I am convinced that Europe will continue to stay close, because there are many related issues. It is extremely important for us," the head of state emphasised.
Earlier, Bruce said that if a negotiated end to the war in Ukraine is not possible, the States will stop their efforts and move on. Donald Trump also said that the US could self-disengage from the process of resolving the war in Ukraine if one of the parties sabotages the achievement of peace. Washington believes that the US has more pressing issues to deal with, such as Iran, China.
