Zelensky said how many Ukrainian military men were killed by Russians during the entire war

More than 46,000 Ukrainian military personnel have been killed since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, with tens of thousands more missing or in captivity. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with NBC News.

In addition, according to him, more than 380,000 military wounded.

At the same time, he noted that it is too early to talk about the real figures, as Kiev does not have information about the number of dead and captured in the occupied territories.

We have some data, but we absolutely do not know how many civilians died in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. When Russia attacked and surrounded several cities, it literally destroyed them at the core with tanks and artillery," Zelensky added.

He noted that the Russians practised mass shootings and pointed out that in almost every settlement liberated from the invaders there were graves where the occupiers dumped the bodies of Ukrainians killed by them.

Mass graves had been discovered in towns liberated from Russian invaders. Russia carried out mass shootings and torture. In some small towns with several thousand people, 500 bodies were found in one big grave," the Ukrainian leader said.

He added that the real number of Ukrainians killed by the Russians might be thousands of people more than the known number.
