Zelensky made a statement about Mariupol and Melitopol

Reaching the 1991 borders would mean the end of the war.
Temporarily occupied Mariupol in Donetsk Region and Melitopol in Zaporizhzhya Region will be liberated from Russian occupants. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Telegram.
The President reminded that this Saturday and Sunday seventeen cities of Ukraine celebrated their days, among which there are both free from invaders and temporarily occupied by the Russians.
Oster is one of the oldest Ukrainian cities. Kramatorsk. Nemirov. Berislav. Zolotonosha. Mykolayivka. Gorodnya. Gaivoron. Vashkovtsy. Sosnovka. Novomoskovsk. Podgorodnoye. Gnivan. Bobrynets. Baturin, whose history remembers both Ukrainian greatness and the tragedy of destruction by the occupants. ...And Mariupol. Melitopol. Every person matters to us. And every city matters," the President noted.
He pointed out that the difference between Ukraine and Russia is deep and not only has a geographical separation, but also a mental difference.
Ukrainians do not destroy, but rebuild. They do not seize, but liberate. They do not go after what is foreign, but return what is theirs. Mariupol will live in Ukraine. We will liberate Melitopol. I wish each of our cities a speedy victory! We are doing everything for it!", - he stressed.
It should be noted that the Russian occupiers have developed a so-called "development plan" for temporarily occupied Mariupol. The Kremlin plans to increase the population of the city by about 300 thousand due to migration from Russia.
In Melitopol, the invaders are trying to intensify terror after the fake elections. After the fictitious elections, they started to carry out checks at many enterprises and those who refused to receive Russian passports are taken captive, interrogated and forced to take the passport of the aggressor country.
