Zelenski shows updated Google maps of Mariupol

Anyone can see with their own eyes what Russia has done to the city, which before the full-scale invasion was almost 500,000 inhabitants.
Google has updated satellite images of Mariupol. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy drew attention to them. He published in his Telegram channel a video of the ruined city taken by Google specialists.
The president pointed out that the Russians had turned Mariupol into ruins, new mass graves had appeared within the city and the invaders were demolishing neighbourhoods to cover up their war crimes.
Mariupol. Once there were almost half a million people living there. Now there are almost no whole houses left. The terrorist state has done everything it can to kill this city. More than 90% of Mariupol has been destroyed," the head of state said.
The president said in a statement that the pictures were taken from March 2022 to the present day.
They demonstrate the scale of destruction in the city of Mariupol. Where life was booming in 2021, there are now dead ruins and mass graves of innocent Mariupol residents," the head of state said.
Zelenskyy stressed that the footage would be another proof of the terrible crime which the Russian Federation has committed and continues to commit against the Ukrainian people.
