Because of Russia's all-out war, 7.1 million people in Ukraine have fallen below the poverty line.

This was reported by Bloomberg, citing World Bank calculations based on losses incurred during the first year of the big war.

According to the World Bank, Ukraine will need $411bn to recover and rebuild after a full-scale war.

Such a figure is 2.6 of Ukraine's projected GDP for 2022.

In addition, the WB estimates that the Russian war against Ukraine has pushed 7.1 million people below the poverty line. In addition, Ukraine has been set back 15 years in progress.

It is worth recalling that as of February 2023, the amount of damage to Ukraine's infrastructure due to a full-scale Russian invasion was $143.8bn.
