- General Staff: Russians torture pro-Ukrainian citizens in Zaporizhzhya Region


The Russians have set up a torture chamber in the town of Vasylivka, Zaporizhzhya Region, where pro-Ukrainian citizens are being held.
An evening briefing from the General Staff reported:
In the temporarily seized territories of Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, Russian occupiers are stepping up pressure on civilians and conducting searches of premises.
The General Staff also said that all units of the so-called law-enforcement agencies in Donetsk Region will switch to functioning under Russian law starting from 1 March 2023:
In connection with this, the dismissal of servicemen of the 1st Army Corps (Horlivka) who have reached their military service time limits has been announced.
The General Staff said that Novoberislav of Kherson Region and Kherson were hit by artillery fire of the Russian occupation troops in the Kherson direction.
