Russia has enough money to continue the war for two more years

The Russian Federation has lost $100 billion in a year of war.

The head of the Polish General Staff, General Raimund Andrzejczak, said:

You only need three things to win a war, as Napoleon said: money, money and money again. Russia still has money. They had, according to official figures before the war, $600 billion prepared for the war. This is very bad, given that we knew Russia was preparing money for the war. Then 50% was frozen, but somehow $300 billion remained in the Russian banking system. By my calculations, Russia spent $100 billion in a year of war. So by very simple calculations, this means that Russia has money for another two years, no matter how effective b

The general also believes that Russia still has a lot of mobilisation potential:

You have seen the Wagner group and officials going around prisons, mobilising criminals and sending them to war, this is far from fiction. It is humanly difficult to understand how this nation is willing to accept such norms. They mobilise criminals and send them to the front and I have no idea how this could have happened. If these criminals survive and return to Russia, the Russians will not be happy to see them.

There is still a lot of machinery in Russia.

So Russia is still a big bear, a very dangerous enemy. And we cannot assess this war because of western optics. We have to understand the Russian approach. Money, soldiers and equipment, but no strategic political leadership. Sorry to say so, but it does not look good. So we have to improve our argument for Ukraine and increase support," summed up the Polish General Staff chief.

So we must improve our arguments in favour of Ukraine and increase support, the Polish Chief of Staff concluded.
