Ukrenergo says state of power system after 9 March attack

After the Russian attacks on the night of 9 March, there is no power shortage in Ukraine.
Volodymyr Kudrytskyy, head of the board of NEC Ukrenergo, said this during a telethon.
All night long, we at Ukrenergo's dispatch centre tried to stabilize the power system during a rocket attack. We state that the enemy has not achieved its main objectives: the power system is working, it is not extinguished, it has not chipped away," Kudrytskyy said.
He added that there is damage to the energy infrastructure in many regions. There are also damages to thermal power plants and substations of Ukrenergo, due to which power supply limitations were applied in some regions.
Therefore, the deadline for restoring power supply will be announced before the end of the day, when a full assessment of the damage will be made.
