He also stressed that Ukrainian diplomats and the Coordinating Centre for the Treatment of Prisoners of War and other relevant Ukrainian authorities continue working on the return of Ukrainian defenders taken from Russia to Hungary.
Earlier, Sotsportal reported that official Budapest said it was not involved in removing 11 Ukrainian POWs from Russia. Later, the Foreign Ministry spokesman said that Ukraine knew nothing about the negotiations between the Hungarian and Russian sides on the POW transfer and that Budapest ignored Ukraine's attempts to establish a dialogue.
However, Ukraine established the exact location of the prisoners and started identification procedures.
