Ukraine launched a new initiative for the employment of migrants


The job search service for migrants will be focused on remote work.
Global job marketplace Upwork, refugee support company Tent Partnership for Refugees (Tent), Payoneer payment platform and a number of other partners, including businesses, have launched a new initiative , "Unlimited Opportunities: Bringing Displaced Workers to Work Remotely."
As part of the initiative, it is planned to provide employment for tens of thousands of displaced Ukrainian specialists.
Through the Upwork platform, participants will be able to:
- find / provide a job;
- organize / find trainings that will improve the skills of specialists, expand existing qualifications;
- access to new knowledge and skills;
- receive social services that will help job seekers to focus on work;
- secure way to store and transfer funds.
Unemployed Ukrainians who do not have an Upwork account can register using a special link . After creating an account, the company team will verify the identity and contact the potential participant. Specialists who already have an account need to enter the platform through the page .
After creating an account on Upwork, you need to choose the most convenient way to receive a salary.
Upwork is a company that offers a global job search marketplace and a range of software products for employers who want to hire and collaborate with remote professionals.
It should be noted that the number of officially unemployed in Ukraine is declining. As of July 6, 2022, there were 312 thousand people registered with the State Employment Center - 8% less than on the corresponding date last year.
