For the 1st time in Ukraine, a mayor-collaborator was arrested

Collaborator mayor Oleksandr Kharchenko was arrested in Ukraine.
During the temporary occupation of the Kyiv region, the invaders appointed him the mayor of Dymer, and at the same time the manager of Katyuzhanka and Yasnogorodka.
Shortly after entering Dymer in late February, Russian troops appointed a little-known local businessman as the new mayor. Oleksandr Kharchenko, 39, volunteered to help occupying forces in an attempt to reopen essential services and gain acceptance from a largely unfriendly population.
Do not believe the Ukrainian media, Russian soldiers are not hostile, you can normally approach them and resolve all issues with them, he said in a video released by the Russian Ministry of Defense on March 28.
According to The Wall Street Journal , Kharchenko was trying to help enemy troops gain the trust of the locals when they entered the settlement in late February. Having offered his services to the invaders, he convinced the local people that the Russian invaders were not enemies.
The collaborator was detained by the SBU. Now they are investigating his involvement in the transfer of information to the enemy about members of the territorial defense and ATO veterans.
