Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrei Rudenko said that the defenders of Mariupol who left the territory of the Azovstal plant could be exchanged.

Russian media write about it.

Earlier, Leonid Slutsky, a member of the Russian negotiating group, said that the Russian authorities would "study the issue" of exchanging the detained People's Deputy of Ukraine Viktor Medvedchuk for the defenders of Mariupol, but later retracted his words.

According to Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, the Kremlin is not going to exchange the military from Azovstal for Medvedchuk, since he is Ukrainian and has nothing to do with Russia.
