The murdered man was actively involved in the storming of Belbek airport in Crimea.
The networks are reporting the death of yet another high-ranking Russian officer in Zaporizhzhya Region.
The former commander of the 382 separate battalion of the Marine Corps, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Gorin, has been killed. This was reported by Ukrainian blogger Denis Kazansky.
Gorin was probably killed as a result of a strike on the Russian army headquarters in Berdyansk, when the deputy commander of the Southern Military District, Oleg Tsokov, was eliminated.

The battalion to which Gorin belonged took an active part in the storming of Belbek airport during the annexation of Crimea in 2014. His participation in this event emphasises its importance in the structure of the Russian army.
Note that Belbek airfield is located about 25 kilometres from Sevastopol, near the village of Fructovoye (before 1945 - Belbek, after the name of the river of the same name in the south-west of Crimea). on 28 February 2014, Belbek Airport was blocked and seized by Russian forces in an operation to annex Crimea.
