Ukraine nearly runs out of ammunition - OPU

The AFU spends 5,000 shells a day.
Ukraine has almost run out of ammunition due to the high intensity of military operations in the east of the country. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are using up around five thousand shells a day, the deputy head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Ihor Zhovkva, has said, Bloomberg has reported.
Ammunition stocks in Ukraine are almost at zero. Everything is running out very quickly due to the intensity of fighting," Zhovkva noted.
He also noted that Ukraine now needs the support of partners. In particular, the Ukrainian army needs: weapons, ammunition, artillery, battle tanks, armoured vehicles, fighter jets,
According to him, the latter are needed, among other things, to intercept ballistic missiles, which Ukraine is currently unable to shoot down.
We note that the war in Ukraine and high demand among other states is forcing global defence companies to sharply increase production volumes. Most defence companies have increased work shifts and hired more workers.
