Car with baby blown up by mine in Mykolaiv region


The Russians are mining abandoned territory in an attempt to increase civilian casualties.
A car carrying civilians has been hit by a mine in Mykolayiv Region, in Vitivskyy District, near the village of Lyubomirivka. A baby is among the victims, according to Anna Zamazeyeva, head of the Mykolayiv regional council for humanitarian issues, on her Telegram channel.
As Zamazeeva writes, four people were injured, among the victims is an infant aged three weeks.
Other details of the tragedy have not been disclosed yet. Civilians are urged to be careful.
We would like to point out that hundreds of civilians in Ukraine have been killed or injured by explosive devices since the start of the war.
More than 150,000 explosive devices have been defused since March 2022, but Ukrainian soil is strewn with millions more explosive munitions that could take decades to destroy.
