The enemy shelled Nikolayev twice last night.
The Security Service of Ukraine detained a fire spotter in Nikolaev. He transmitted information about the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the Russian special services, and they planned to use this data to launch missile strikes in the Mykolaiv region. This was reported by the SBU on Facebook .
Employees of the SBU documented the criminal activity of the informant, who turned out to be a resident of Nikolaev involved in the activities of the agent network, the department said.
The SBU noted that the attacker collected information about the deployment and movement of Ukrainian army units in the region, and also kept the coordinates of urban infrastructure facilities and regularly transmitted information to the representative of Russia.
The man was detained and informed of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 114-2 (dissemination of information about the location of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to transfer this information to the state carrying out armed aggression against Ukraine) of the Criminal Code.
