Senior Lieutenant of the State Emergency Service Yulia Sidorenko told about the work of psychologists during rescue operations. The video was published by the State Emergency Service.

We very often go to emergency situations, we see how people and entire families lose everything in an instant. We had a case when we came to the place of shelling by occupants, and there father and mother lost their daughter, son-in-law and little granddaughter, who was only 11 months old", - says senior lieutenant of civil protection service, psychologist of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhya region Yulia Sidorenko.

During the war, the concept of life of psychologists has also changed. If earlier they travelled to emergency situations and knew that during the work nothing threatens you, and then after it you will come home and everything will be calm, you will be sure of your safety, now there is no such thing.

Yulia says that despite difficult moments, words of gratitude become the best motivation, because then you realise that you are doing your job for a reason.
