Schoolchildren study in two shifts in Kharkiv metro (video, photo)

The training was organised in two shifts. The first shift starts at 9:00, the second at 13:00. Just over a thousand schoolchildren study in Metro. Schoolchildren are brought to the metro stations and back by buses. About it reports Ukrinform.

In the centre of Kharkiv at the station "University" in the first shift learn only first graders. Seven classes are organised here, as well as a medical station and a play area. After the second lesson children got a hamburger and juice.

So far, all classes have three lessons each. The youngest ones are taught writing, maths, reading and creative activities. For middle and high school classes - maths, Ukrainian language and literature, history of Ukraine.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said that police officers and rescuers were on duty at each metro station for the safety of schoolchildren during lessons.

Also, for the safety of children, police patrols will accompany school buses when transporting pupils from remote parts of the city.
