In Melitopol, patriots came out with the flags of Ukraine and sang the national anthem


A few days ago, Melitopol partisans invited the townspeople on May 29 to a pro-Ukrainian rally.
In the occupied Melitopol, Zaporozhye region, a patriotic action was held on Sunday in support of Ukraine, writes the local edition of RIA Melitopol .
According to eyewitnesses, patriots are now singing the anthem of Ukraine in the city park. In the photo, several dozen people with impromptu posters, flags and yellow-blue ribbons, the newspaper writes.
Information about this appeared in local Telegram channels, Channel 24 reports. On the eve of the rally, leaflets were posted on the streets of the city with calls to come out and explain to the invaders that Melitopol is Ukraine. At the same time, only the time and date were known, and the meeting place was kept secret until the last moment.
The authors of these leaflets gave arguments why Melitopol residents should go to the rally. Among them:
- "Because my children should live freely, fearlessly and without Russian tyranny,"
- "For every occupant to feel the earth burning under his feet."
It is known that the Russians demand bribes from 3,000 to 5,000 hryvnias from people who want to leave the occupied Melitopol.
