After Kherson, Mariupol becomes a major military logistical hub and a rear base for the occupiers.

The number of Russian invaders and military equipment is growing in temporarily occupied Mariupol, the city's mayoral adviser, Petro Andryushchenko, has said. According to him, the presence of Russian military in the city is rapidly increasing:

"For two days in a row in Mariupol we have been recording the consequences of the Kherson retreat of the Russians. The presence of both Russian military and 'dnrovtsy' occupiers has rapidly increased"

According to Andryushchenko, Russian military personnel arriving in the city are occupying empty houses and flats of Mariupol residents. Andryushchenko also reported another increase in the movement of Russian military columns with both equipment and BK:

At least twice a day, convoys of Russian trucks numbering 40-60 vehicles move in the direction of Mangush to exit in the direction of Volnovakha/Donetsk. The number of vehicles remaining in the city is growing

At the same time, the occupants often leave the military equipment near residential buildings

Andryushchenko suggests that after leaving Kherson, Mariupol is turning into a major military logistics hub and a rear base for Russian troops.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces entered Kherson on 11 November. The city is now "almost completely" under the control of Ukrainian troops, but the operation there is still ongoing.
