The General Staff of Ukraine reported that over the past day, October 8, the Ukrainian military destroyed more than 400 invaders, 14 tanks. The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk direction. Fresh data on the losses of the enemy were published in the General Staff.

The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 62,500 military. 440 invaders liquidated over the past day.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02 to 08.10 were approximately:

• armored combat vehicles - 5133 (+22);
• artillery systems - 1477 (+18);
• MLRS - 348 (+3);
• air defense systems - 180 (+0);
• aircraft - 266 (+0);
• helicopters - 235 (+1);
• UAVs of the operational-tactical level - 1086 (+7);
• cruise missiles - 247 (+1);
• ships/boats - 15 (+0);
• automotive equipment and tankers - 3890 (+15);
• special equipment - 136 (+0).
