The Ukrainian armed forces update on Russian losses at the front

The Ukrainian military continues to successfully destroy Russian aircraft.



On Saturday, 17 June, Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 650 occupiers. Russia has lost some 219,820 manpower since the start of the full-scale invasion. This is stated on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Total enemy combat losses from 24.02.22 to 18.06.23 are estimated at:

  • personnel - about 219820 (+650) men eliminated,
  • tanks - 3984 (+7) units,
  • armoured combat vehicles - 7729 (+23) units
  • artillery systems - 3847 (+13) units
  • Multiple rocket launchers - 610 (+1) units
  • air defence means - 364 (+0) units
  • aircraft - 314 (+0) units
  • helicopters - 304 (+2) units,
  • Operational-tactical level UAVs - 3371 (+7)
  • cruise missiles - 1211 (+0),
  • ships / boats - 18 (+0) pcs,
  • vehicles and tankers - 6,571 (+14) units
  • special vehicles - 522 (+2).

We would like to add that on the night of 18 June the air defence forces shot down two enemy Ka-52 attack helicopters in the Donetsk direction, four Iranian Shahed-136/131 UAVs and one Lancet.

The Defence Forces also destroyed seven enemy reconnaissance UAVs of operational-tactical types Orlan-10, Orlan-30, Zala and Supercam.

We would like to point out that the Russian troops are concentrating their main efforts in the Liman, Bakhmut, Avdyivka and Maryinka directions.
