In Europe, they will build a secret bunker for negotiations

EU member states decided to build a bunker so that Russian or other spies could not listen to secret conversations within it. The closed room will be able to accommodate about 100 people, namely up to 34 managers and 34 recorders, as well as protocol, technical and service personnel. It is reported by EUobserver .

It is assumed that there will be no Internet in the bunker. However, the room will be equipped with internal conference technology with a large screen and microphones connected to equally secure booths for 30 interpreters. Both the conference room and the cabins will be housed in a NATO-certified insulating frame to "reduce the risk of exploiting compromising radiation."

It is reported that participants in secret negotiations will not be able to bring gadgets with them to meetings.

The premises are planned to be built by 2024 in the EU Council complex in Brussels. Its exact location has not yet been determined.

This decision was taken against the backdrop of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the exposure of a number of Putin's agents in Europe. In particular, they recall that Belgium recently expelled two Russian spies who specialized in intercepting signals.
