Russian troops shelled a trolleybus in Kherson in the morning

A 49-year-old police sergeant was killed in Kherson this morning as a result of Russian artillery shelling, the Interior Ministry's press service has said.

Two more civilians were seriously wounded - the enemy artillery mutilated a trolleybus with passengers. The injured were hospitalised," the report said.

As a result of an enemy hit, a warehouse building caught fire. Rescuers are extinguishing the fire of about 1000 square metres.

Today at 09:35 Russian troops shelled the Ship district of Kherson. They hit trolleybus No 9 on Neftyanikov Street," Roman Mrochko, Head of the Kherson MVA, said.

He also noted that Kherson city territorial community for the past day was shelled 25 times, the enemy used 116 shells for this purpose.

• Kamyshany,
• Zelenovka
• Zimovnik.

The head of the Kherson OBA said that the enemy had shelled the region 95 times, firing 430 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads, UAVs, tanks and aviation.

As a result of the shelling of Kherson, two passengers of a trolleybus were wounded - they were men, 33 and 57 years old.

They were hospitalised. The injured are being examined and treated," Prokudin added.
