Rustem Umerov noted that a new coalition of ground-based air defences had been formed.
Rustem Umerov has spoken about the main results of the 17th meeting of the Ukrainian Defence Contact Group within the Ramstein format. This was reported by Defence Minister Rustem Umerov.
Each ammunition provided to Ukraine is an opportunity to destroy an enemy stronghold, - Rustem Umerov noted.
The following aid packages from partners have been announced:
- A new coalition of ground-based air defences has been formed. Twenty countries have joined it (Ground-Based Air Defence), with Germany and France as leaders.
- Following yesterday's visit by the German Defence Minister, they have already announced $1.4 billion in aid - this includes IRIS-T guided missile systems, 8,000 new anti-tank mines, one set of Patriot systems, additional 155mm artillery ammunition - all to be received by mid-December.
- The Netherlands has prepared 2 billion euros for military aid to Ukraine.
- The leader of the ІТ-coalition - Estonia is providing funding of half a million dollars for ІТ-coalition activities in addition to Luxembourg's commitment of 10 million euros.
- Britain and Norway within the Maritime Coalition will look for ways to strengthen security in the Black Sea.
The Ukrainian Defence Minister expressed gratitude for the continued support of international partners for Ukraine.
Rustem Umerov also separately invited the defence ministers of the partner countries to visit Ukraine in order to be able to make sure that the assistance they provide is used effectively and brings the day of our victory closer.
