Ukrainian woman murdered in Germany, her 5-week-old daughter and her mother missing

A 27-year-old refugee from Ukraine, previously reported missing, was found dead in Hockenheim, Germany. The girl's body was found by a passer-by on the banks of the Rhine. About it reports Bild.

The daughter of the deceased, who is only five weeks old, and her 51-year-old mother Marina Stetsenko was missing. All three Ukrainians lived in a house for refugees in the Rhein-Neckar district.

The mother of the deceased is considered by police to be the main witness in the case of her daughter's death. The police published a photo of the mother of the murdered Ukrainian woman.

Police have asked anyone who knows anything about the events at the murder scene on 6 or 7 March 2024 to call 0621/174-4444.

The area around the crime scene on the banks of the Rhine River has been searched with the help of service dogs to find "possible means of crime". Sixty police officers are now working on the case.
