Ukraine offered China to become one of the guarantors of security

Kyiv offered China, as a permanent member of the UN Security Council, to become the guarantor of Ukraine's security.
As Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said in an interview with Xinhua, Ukraine is now exploring the possibility of obtaining security guarantees from the permanent members of the UN Security Council, including China and other states.
Our proposal that China be one of the guarantors of Ukraine's security is a sign of our respect and trust in the People's Republic of China," Kuleba said.
He also made an official request to Beijing to continue providing humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, noting that it is very important for Ukraine in such a difficult period.
I would like to thank Minister Wang Yi for his remarks on supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and his willingness to seek a truce through diplomacy. I also thank the Chinese Red Cross Society for providing humanitarian assistance worth 5 million yuan, the Foreign Minister added.
According to Kuleba, Ukraine hopes that China will call on Russia for a ceasefire.
