Dmytro Kuleba and the UN High Commissioner announced the launch of the online platform "Ukraine is Home" for Ukrainians who are considering returning from abroad.

Ukraine and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees have launched an online platform "Ukraine is Home" to help Ukrainians abroad who want to return to Ukraine. This was announced by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on 18 July.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba held talks with UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi. They discussed strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The parties announced the joint launch of the online platform "Ukraine is Home", which will become an important tool for supporting Ukrainians who want to return to their homeland.

The platform will provide refugees with verified and up-to-date information to help them make decisions about the possibility of returning from abroad to Ukraine.

This platform will help people to get reliable and up-to-date information on all issues related to return to Ukraine, to see what opportunities and advantages there are, and to make an informed choice," Kuleba said.

The Minister also called on UNHCR to take decisive steps to protect Ukrainian children deported to Russia in order to prevent their illegal adoption and ensure their safe return to Ukraine.

The parties expressed hope for continued partnership on the implementation of joint projects between the MFA and UNHCR to strengthen the technical capacity of the consular service of Ukraine and support the global Ukrainian community.

Earlier Socialportal reported that on 23 April all diplomatic institutions of Ukraine temporarily stopped providing consular services to men of conscription age.
