Ukraine asks European Commission to pay attention to Fitzo's threats

Slovakia's supply of critical amounts of electricity is not charity - Ukraine pays a lot of money for it.
Ukraine has called on the European Commission to react to Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo's blackmail on cutting off electricity supplies. It recalled that Slovakia was part of the single European market. This was stated in a statement by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that Slovakia does not show charity by supplying electricity to Ukraine, but receives money for this.
Ukraine has always been self-sufficient in electricity production, but now it is sometimes forced to import it. The reason for this is only Russian crimes - the occupation of ZNPP, constant and targeted missile strikes on civilian infrastructure, energy system, generation facilities and distribution networks," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The diplomats stressed that there are now "two figures" in the world who want to leave Ukrainians without electricity in winter.
Fitzo is actually on the same side as the Russian dictator. Now these are the only two figures in the world who threaten to leave Ukrainians without electricity in winter," the statement reads.
The Foreign Ministry emphasised that with their intentions, Fitzo and Putin are trying to force American and other energy carriers out of the European market in the interests of maintaining dependence on Russia.
Ukraine is asking the European Commission to respond to Fitzo's threats.
The day before, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo said that he might stop supplying electricity to Ukraine. He made this statement in response to Ukraine's refusal to continue the transit of Russian gas, on which Slovakia depends.
