The index of recognition in 2023 rose from 47th to 14th place. The reputation of Ukraine has shown a moderate improvement, the growth of the index is held back by respondents from Asia, who believe that the reputation of Ukraine has slightly decreased.
The 2022 report on the perception of Ukraine in the world clearly demonstrated that Ukraine is no longer terra incognita, as evidenced by Ukraine's results in the Global Soft Power Index 2023. Over the past year Ukraine has made great efforts to tell its story, create its narrative and gain support. The current result is an achievement of the brave Ukrainian people, President Volodymyr Zelensky, our Armed Forces and all those who have told the story of Ukraine - said Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
The Global Soft Power Index is an international survey of perceptions of national brands conducted by Brand Finance, covering 100,000 respondents worldwide.
