This is reported by the Minfin edition with reference to the National Agency for the Detection, Search and Management of Corrupt Assets (ARMA).
ARMA has processed more than 600 requests from law enforcement agencies to search for assets in cases related to Russian aggression.
Starting from February 24, 2022, ARMA has already sent 336 inquiries on 555 defendants in criminal cases in 87 jurisdictions, from where it receives responses to assets existing abroad, which may later be seized and confiscated.
These are mainly industrial enterprises, corporate rights, movable and immovable property, including those belonging to persons involved in Russian aggression
“Our common task is to ensure that these assets are used to compensate the victims of Russian crimes and restore Ukraine,” said Dmitry Zhoravovich, head of ARMA.
