Turkey announces talks on extension of grain agreement

Tentatively, the parties agree to extend the agreement.

According to preliminary information, negotiations on the extension of the grain deal are scheduled for 5 May in Istanbul. The meeting will be held at the level of deputy defense ministers.
the deputy defence ministers of Turkey, Ukraine and Russia are scheduled to meet in Istanbul on Friday, 5 May to discuss the grain agreements.
According to the head of the Turkish Defence Ministry, the sides are ready to extend the agreements.
It is worth noting that Ukraine is not negotiating directly with Russia as part of the deal.
The Ukrainian side is discussing the issues with Turkey and the UN, which in turn are holding separate talks with Russia.
