Turkish embassy in full force returned to Kyiv


The staff of the Turkish embassy in Ukraine returned to Kyiv and the embassy resumed its work in full force.

The Turkish Embassy in Kyiv, which moved from Kyiv to the city of Chernivtsi, returned to Kyiv after Russia withdrew from its environs.
On the 41st day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, all employees of the Turkish Embassy in Kyiv returned to Kyiv.
The embassy, which had continued its activities without leaving the country since the beginning of the occupation, left Kyiv to continue its work from the city of Chernivtsi on the Romanian border without leaving Ukraine after shelling intensified in Kyiv.
Turkey was the last embassy to leave Kyiv. Today, this is the first embassy to return to the city after breaking the blockade of Kyiv.
Turkish personnel reportedly arrived in Kyiv under heightened security measures.
