Trump called Orban several times to talk about Ukraine war

Orban has repeatedly said that after Trump's victory in the US election, Europe will not finance the "lost" war in Ukraine.
Newly elected US President Donald Trump has already called Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban several times after the election to ask his opinion on the war in Ukraine. This was reported by Radio Liberty, citing sources of its Hungarian service.
According to the journalists' sources, Trump had several phone conversations with Orban after 5 November, focusing on the situation in Ukraine.
The sources also said that Orban, inspired by his conversations with Trump, has decided to resume his cross-country trips as part of what he calls his "peacekeeping mission." Where exactly he is going the sources do not know, but assume that he will try to meet with Trump, President Vladimir Zelensky, Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Recall, Orban travelled to Kiev in July to meet with President Vladimir Zelensky, where he urged him to "take a break, cease fire and then start negotiations". After that, Orban travelled to Moscow to see Putin and then to China. The Hungarian prime minister also discussed ways to create peace with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and then US presidential candidate Donald Trump. He also sent his "peace plan" to European leaders. At the same time, Orban spoke negatively about Zelensky's Victory Plan and repeatedly called for negotiations with Russia.
orban's "peacemaking" trips were criticised by the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell, and a number of European leaders called for Hungary's voting rights in the European Union to be taken away.
