An FSB agent who corrected a missile strike on the Lutsk airfield at the beginning of a full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation has been convicted on SBU materials.
An FSB agent who corrected enemy shelling of Volyn and Lutsk military airfield has been sentenced to a real term of imprisonment. This was reported by the SBU on 16 July.
The investigation of the SBU found that according to his coordinates on 24 February 2022, the Rashists carried out a missile strike on the military airfield near Lutsk, - stated in the message.
After the RF air attack, the gunner passed information about the consequences of the "arrival" to the occupiers.
Counterintelligence SBU detained the spy in early March 2022.
The traitor is a 38-year-old musician of the local philharmonic, who was remotely recruited by the FSB even before the full-scale invasion.
At that time he travelled to Moscow, where he met with his Russian handler and received agency assignments from him. In the future, the spy communicated with his handler through a liaison officer, an FSB officer.
Before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the traitor secretly walked the perimeter of the military airfield near Lutsk and marked the equipment and objects located there on an electronic map.
According to the materials of the SBU, the traitor was found guilty under Part 1 Article 111 of the Criminal Code (high treason committed under martial law).
Taking into account the cooperation with the investigation, the court sentenced him to 12 years in prison.
