To discuss EU accession: Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Ukraine


The head of the European Commission arrived in Kyiv to discuss European integration, financial support and ways to hold Russia accountable.
The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, arrived in Ukraine on Saturday, 4 November, for the sixth time during the full-scale war. She reported about it in the social network X.
Ursula von der Le yen said she was "pleased to be back in Kyiv on my sixth visit during the war.
I am here to discuss Ukraine's path to EU membership. EU financial support to rebuild Ukraine as a modern, prosperous democracy. And how we will continue to make Russia pay for its war of aggression," the EC chief wrote.
Also Ursula von der Leyen published a photo with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the railway station.
