The complex of engineering structures and solutions on the border with the Russian Federation meets the wishes of the fighters from the first line of defence.
Kharkiv Region continues to build and equip the second line of fortifications on the border with the Russian Federation. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleh Sinegubov, on 21 March.
The work continues according to the plans. One of the main challenges is the presence of a large number of mines and unexploded ordnance, - the message says.
It was in this direction that active military operations were once conducted. To fulfil the tasks 47 sapper units are involved - that's more than 200 specialists. They are co-operated by units of 30 units of the State Emergency Situations Service.
The fortifications are reliable: they protect against artillery and debris. The project was developed by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, and, what is very important, taking into account the wishes of the fighters from the first line of defence," Sinegubov said.
According to him, it is a whole complex of engineering structures and solutions that are in line with the vision of the Defence Forces.
