Energoatom turned to the IAEA with a request to help release its employees.

The information was reported at Energoaetome.

According to the press service of the enterprise, on August 17, the Russians took away the head of the information technology service of the Zaporozhye NPP, Oleg Kostyukov, and the assistant to the general director, Oleg Osheka, in an unknown direction.

At the moment, nothing is known about their future fate.

Representatives of the enterprise appealed to the IAEA with a request to take all measures to return the kidnapped employees.

Recall that on September 30, the Russian military kidnapped the general director of the station, Igor Murashov. And a few days later he was thrown out of the car, and he traveled several kilometers to the Ukrainian military through the shelled territory. And on October 10, the invaders abducted Valery Martynyuk, Deputy General Director of the Zaporizhzhya NPP for personnel.

Also at Energoatom they said that the occupiers changed their tactics of pressure on the Zaporozhye NPP:

Rashist terrorists have changed tactics and are now trying to blackmail Ukraine and the whole world with rocket attacks on remote substations through which the nuclear power plant is powered.
