The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development spoke about preparations for the heating season

We are well aware that in 2.5 months, we will begin a heating period in Ukraine, which will not be easy, but we must cope with this. The rules of the game for this heating season are clear to everyone. They are approved. There is a clear, stable understanding of how we are going through it,” said Alexei Chernyshev.

The Minister said that a set of procedures is being carried out to ensure price stability in the field of heat supply in the 2022/23 heating season.

They also voiced information on the state of infrastructure in the field of heat supply.

As of July 27, as a result of Russia's armed aggression on the territory of Ukraine, 352 critical infrastructure facilities in the field of heat supply were hit, namely: 343 boiler houses (331 damaged and 12 destroyed) and eight thermal power plants (4 killed and four injured) and 1 TPP was damaged. Also, 31% of the total number of affected objects has been restored, - said Deputy Minister Natalia Khotsyanovska.

The critical topic of the meeting was the topic of the technical readiness of the municipal infrastructure of the regions, price stability, accumulation, availability, and availability of fuel, including alternative energy.

We will support communities in any situation. This is our responsible position. Together we must ensure that the heating season continues. The Minister said during the meetings that the government is helping communities switch to alternative fuels and provide fast and high-quality preparation for cold weather.

Alexey Chernishov summed up that preparation for the heating season is part of the defense of the state.
