The Israeli army announced the elimination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah

Hezbollah terrorist group leader Hassan Nasrallah has been eliminated after a strike on Beirut by the Israeli armed forces. This is stated in an official statement of the Israeli army.

Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to terrorise the world," the army said on its social media page.

The IDF said that acting on accurate intelligence information, Israeli Air Force planes struck Hezbollah's central headquarters, located underground, beneath an apartment building in the Dahiya neighbourhood of Beirut.

The attack took place while the group's top leadership was at its headquarters coordinating terrorist activities against citizens of the State of Israel," the report said.

Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevy called the operation a signal to all adversaries that Israel knows how to reach them.

Hezbollah leader Zeinab Nasrallah's daughter is presumed dead in IDF strikes on Beirut, her body found under the rubble of a destroyed command centre.

According to the Israel Defence Forces, only one commander remains in Hezbollah's chain of military command - Abu Ali Rida.

It should be noted that the Israeli army struck the southern part of Beirut, where Hezbollah's headquarters are located, on the evening of 27 September. At that time, six buildings collapsed: the Israeli Air Force used heavy bombs designed to destroy bunkers located under ordinary city houses. At the same time, the first information about the possible elimination of the terrorist group's leader appeared.
